Lauralee will lead the children in an hour lesson exploring “Puff the Magic Dragon”. All children are invited, come and join the fun. Methow Valley Unitarian Universalists meeting at the Methow Valley Community Center in Twisp, WA Sunday Morning.

The beautiful and interesting Winthrop Gallery in Winthrop is open and ready for you to enjoy the lovely art by local artists. Lauralee will be the working artists on that day and her new work “A Cowgirl’s Life in the Mountains” is available for sale. You may enjoy watching her weave her baskets during the day.
Books and CD’s will be available for sale at the annual Christmas Bazaar in the gym at the community center in Twisp. The entire community will be out and about. Don’t miss it!
The beautiful and interesting Confluence Gallery on Glover Street in Twisp, will host an evening presentation of Lauralee’s new work, “A Cowgirl’s Life in the Mountains”. This book talk will take the listener through poems, songs, menus and stories. The book will be for sale and is a perfect gift for those interested in local places. The presentation is free, and guests will also have an opportunity to view the art gallery.
This group of super women gets together monthly to share their ideas about the book selection. This month Lauralee, who is a member, will share her book with the group. Songs will be sung, poems will be recited, and very tall tales will be blown around.
The Twisp History Book Club is famous! These master historians are going to take a few minutes away from their serious studies to have some fun with Lauralee, as she talks about her her new book, “A Cowgirl’s Life In The Mountains.” Songs will be sung and poems will be recited, along with some tall tales. The public is welcome to join the fun at the Methow Valley Community Center in Twisp, in the library.
The International Western Music Association will host the annual Awards Festival at Hotel Albuquerque, NM at Old Town. Lauralee will be showcasing on Thursday; participate in the Friday Night Opry; and other performance opportunities at the event.

Come join the fun, for an entire day of cowboy music and poetry at one of the most beautiful venues in Idaho. The stage overlooks the magnificent Snake River. An all day ticket is $10. This will be the final Unitarian gathering until next fall. The kids and Lauralee will go outside with songbooks and guitar in hand to welcome a summer of fun and freedom! Maybe, a picnic will be offered.

Lauralee has been invited to join 8-12 other artists as each artists presents 20 images relating to their work. Lauralee will be speaking about how basket weaving became an important part of her creative life and how the process works for her individually. The free community gathering is part of the Make ART Work professional development conference for artists. The community is invited to attend.
